Through a signed agreement, the Institut d’Estudis Catalans (IEC, the Catalan Studies Institute) has committed to offer office space and services in its Barcelona Headquarters if the candidature of ISOC-CAT is chosen to host the legal entity of ISOC-ECC. The Institute of Catalan Studies, set up by the Barcelona provincial council in 1907 is an academic, scientific and cultural corporation that aims at high-level scientific research with a special focus on Catalan culture.
